“Just  What  Do  You Mean… ‘Playing Church’?”

When you  think about  the word ‘church’,  exactly what comes  to  your  mind? Do you  think about  a building,
an organization,  a name,  or  a group  of  people? I  once  thought,
believe  it or not, that I  was in the
one  and only true ‘church’.  This was, of  course, until  the bubble burst!

Let’s  see just what the  dictionary  has to say  about this word;

The  New American Webster  Handy College  Dictionary:  church ~ an edifice  for religious  worship,
the  chief services held there, a  body  or  organization  of  Christian believers, a  denomination.

In the  above we see: (1)  edifice - building  (2) body (3)  organization  (4) denomination

One  of  the definitions  above I  believe to be correct…I’m  sure  that  you can  see it as well!  What  do  the
Scriptures  have  to  say about  this  word  church? Let’s  investigate!

Matt 16:18
And  I also say  to  you that you  are Peter, and  on  this  Rock  I will build  My  church, and the
gates  of  Hades shall  not prevail  against it.
(NKJ)

4074 Petros- (Thayers)

Peter = "a rock or a  small stone";

one  of  the twelve disciples  of  Jesus

4073 petra- (Thayers) a rock,  a cliff  or  a ledge

a) a  projecting  rock, a  crag, rocky  ground

b) a  rock, a  large stone

c) metaphorically,  a man  like  a rock,  by  reason  of  his firmness and  strength  of  soul

In the  above Scripture, the  word  Peter (Petros) and  the word Rock (petra)  refer to two  different things.
Peter  is  a small  stone,  the Rock that the  ‘church’  or  ekklesia  is  built upon is a  large stone!

Isaiah 28:16
Therefore, thus said the  Master
(Lord) Yahweh (Jehovah): `Lo,  I am laying a  foundation in
Zion,  A stone--a tried  stone,  a corner stone  precious, a  settled foundation,  He  who is believing
does not  make  haste.
(
YLT)

1577 ekklesia- (Thayers)

A  gathering of citizens called out  from  their homes  into  some  public  place,  an  assembly.

a) An assembly of the  people  convened  at  the public place  of  the council  for the  purpose of  deliberating.

b) The  assembly  of  the Israelites.

c) Any  gathering or throng of men  assembled by chance,  tumultuously.

d) in a  Christian sense:

1) An assembly of believers  (Christians)  gathered  for worship  in  a religious  meeting.

  • 2) A company  of  believers,  or  of  those who, hoping for  eternal salvation  through
Yahshua  Messiah (Jesus Christ), to  observe their  own religious  rites,  to  hold  their (cont.)
own  religious meetings,  and to manage their  own affairs, according  to  regulations prescribed for  the
      body for  order's sake.

3) Those  who anywhere,  in  a city,  village,  constitute  such  a company  and are  united  into one  body.

4) The  whole body of believers  (Christians)  scattered throughout the  earth.

Matt 26:61
And  said, This fellow said,  I am able to destroy  the temple of Elohim (God),  and to build it in
  three  days.
(KJV)

Mark 14:58
We heard  him say, `I will destroy  this  man-made  temple  and in three  days  will  build another,
  not  made  by  man.'
(NIV)

The physical temple at the  time  Yahshua spoke  these words, had  taken a  very  long  time  to  build…they  did
not  understand  the concept  of  Him able to build  the spiritual  temple  in  three days!

Heb 9:11
But  when  Messiah (Christ) appeared {as} a  high  priest  of  the good things to come,  {He entered}  through the  greater and  more  perfect tabernacle,  not made with hands, that is to  say,  not of this creation; (NAS)

We can  all agree  from  what  we  have  read  so  far,  the ekklesia are  the called out  ones, the  assembly  of
believers  throughout  the world, all  making  up  the Body.  A corporate  name  is  not the  ekklesia, nor  is  a
physical building…it  goes  much  deeper  than  that!

For  a group, or a  ‘leader’  of  a group  to  say that their  fellowship  is  the one  true  assembly  (church)  is  false
and  miss  leading…or  flatly  deceptive!  No  man can  know  the heart  of  another person…hopefully we can  learn
to discern  a spirit…but to judge  someone because  they  may not  be  in  our ‘room’ is not  the right  thing for
a  believer  to  do!

Mark 9:38-40
38 John said to him, “Teacher,  we  saw a  man casting  out demons in your name,  and we
forbade him, because  he  was not  following us. (RSV)
39 None of you  must  prevent the  man,” answered Yahshua  (Jesus),  “for  no  one will use my
name in working  a miracle, and  yet find it easy to speak  evil  of  me. (TCNT)
40
For whoever  is  not against  us  is  on  our side.” (WEB)

1 Corinthians 12: 12, 14
12 For  just  as  the body is one  and has  many  members,  and all  the members  of  the body,
although they be many,  are one  body; so also is Messiah (Christ). (MNT)

14 For  in  fact  the body is not  one member but  many. (NKJV)

 1 Corinthians 10:17
Since  there is one  loaf, we who  are many are  one body;  we, all  of  us, share  in  that
  one loaf.
(WNT)

I  would now  like  to  turn  the focus  of  this  study to the  word  ‘church’ …...should we as believers  use this
word?  Or  should  we  use another  word? Does it really matter?

“Fossilized  Customs”  by  Lew White  states  this  on  page  100:  (quote) “The Old  English word was Cirice,
and  you will see  it  spelled Chirche  written above  many  old ‘church’ entrances throughout England.

This is from the  West  Germanic  Kirika, which  is  based on the  Greek deity’s  name, Circe. Circe  was famous
among  Pagans  for turning  men into pigs,  or  other animals, using  drugs.

The  original  English translation  from  the Greek  text  by  John  Wycliffe  (about  CE  1380) used the  word
congregation  for ‘ecclesia’,  the called out  body  of  believers.” (unquote)

“Come  Out Of Her  My  People” by C. J.  Koster  states  this  on  pages 35:  (quote)

“And  the origin of circe? Any  encyclopedia, or dictionary of mythology, will reveal who  Circe was. She
was  the goddess-daughter of Helios,  the Sun-deity!

Again, another  form  of  Sun-worship,  this  time  the name of the  daughter  of  the Sun-deity, had  become
mixed with the  Messianic Belief…Let us rather use  the Scriptural ‘assembly’ or ‘congregation,’  and
renounce the  word  that  is  derived from Circe, the  daughter  of  the Sun-deity!”  (unquote)

We have seen,  time  and again  in  our studies, the  subtle  mixing  of  paganism  into  the believing  walk…we
can’t  tolerate  this…we must put  a stop to it now! We can  start with one  word  at  a time!

I  would now  like  to  share with all  of  you,  a wonderful  poem  written by my believing  soul  mate, truly  an  inspiration!  ENJOY!

“We  Are The  Temple”

What does church mean to you? I  used  to  belong  to  one.

I’d  sit there  and pay  my  tithes,

And  hear  a few  good  sermons…

This lasted for  at  least twenty years.

Now  I’m more careful  to  what  I hear…

I’m  no  longer  just  a member,

I’m  a disciple in training-

And  truly know my Savior…

I  have  a closer walk with the  Father, I’ve learned  so  much.

Each day  I talk to Him…we stay in  touch.

I  know  Them  by  Their true,  esteemed  Names-

Yahweh the  Father, and  Yahshua the  Son.

Our  Father  in  Heaven  has shown  us  great mercy,

He knew our  eyes  would open…and we’d eventually see.

We are  the temple Messiah  is  returning to,

A  fellowship  of  true  believers-

We count  our calling  a joy, and  daily study  His Word!

Truth  or  Consequences”

We all  seek  truth,  we  all want understanding, we all  want  deceptions  far from us!  But with a  spirit  being,
who  controls  the very air  that  we  breathe,  who  is  the epitome  of  evil, do you  think that he is going  to
make the  ‘truth’ something  that  is  easy  for us to find?  Let’s investigate  what  the Scriptures have to say!

Eph 2:2
Wherein  in  time  past  you walked according  to  the course of this world, according  to  the
prince of the  power of the  air,  the spirit that now  works in the  children  of  disobedience:
(KJV)

John 8:44
You  (scribes and  Pharisees) are  of  your  father  the devil, and  the desires  of  your  father you  want
to do.  He  was a  murderer  from  the beginning,  and does not  stand in the  truth,  because
there is  no  truth in him
.  When  he  speaks  a lie, he speaks from his  own resources,  for he is
a  liar  and the  father  of  it.

(NKJ)

A  pretty  strong  indication  that  this  evil  being does not  want  you,  me, or anyone else uncovering his  lies
and  perversions of truth! There  are other  Scriptures  that  back  up  this  statement.

Rev 12:9
The  great dragon was  hurled  down-- that ancient  serpent called the  devil,  or  Satan,  who leads
the whole  world astray.  He  was hurled to the  earth,  and his  messengers  (angels) with him.

(NIV)

2 Cor 4:3-4
3. And  even  if  our gospel is veiled,  it  is  veiled  to  those who  are perishing, (NAS)
4. in whom the  god of this world  has  blinded the  minds of the  unbelieving,  that  the
light of the  gospel  of  the esteem (glory) of Messiah  (Christ),  who is the  image of
Elohim  (God),  should  not dawn upon them.
(ASV)

If you  believe that you  are not  deceived, you  probably  are…please  re-read Rev. 12:9! I once thought
that I  had all  the truth…but  over  the past few  years, with  humility, I have had  to  unlearn
a lot  of  my  past  ‘dogmas’, and relearn  again!  I tell you  a truth, this is very painful!

Let’s  research  a few  words in our  trusty  Webster’s Dictionary:
(1) truth ~ the state  of  being true,  that  which is true,  a fact,  reality.
(2) truthful ~  speaking  the truth, habitually,  correct.
(3) deception ~ the  act of misleading,  a misrepresentation, artifice,  fraud.
(4) deceptive ~ intended to or tending  to  deceive.
(5) artifice ~  a crafty device,  trickery.

As I  stated  earlier,  we  all want that which  is  true, factual, and  we  want  our ‘group’  speaking  the truth!
When an untruth  is  ‘uncovered’…we  want  humility  to  set in!

Unlearning is very hard,  very  painful…but  I will tell you  a truth…it feels  great to empty  the mind of an
untruth! We have had  to  do  just  that, on a  pretty  regular basis, over the  past  few years. We all  have
trash in our  individual  waste baskets. The  crafty,  deceiving,  misleading, lying, ha Shatan (Satan), is the
very best at what he does…and he looks  good…he makes  his product  look  good…as well as those
working  for him!

1 Peter 5:8
Be serious  and keep watch; the  Evil  One,  who is against  you,  goes  about like a  lion  with
open mouth  in  search  of  food;
(BBE)

2 Corinthians 11:14-15
14
Did  not even Satan  marvelously transform  himself into a  messenger (angel) of light?
15 It  is  no  great thing  therefore if his  ministers also transform  themselves  as  ministers
of righteousness; whose  end shall  be  according to their  works.
(DBY)

We must be vigilant,  watchful, wise as serpents but  harmless  as  doves in our  believing walk!  We  must
prove  all things,  not believing  what  a ‘group leader’  may say, or ‘his’  ministers!  They  may look legit,
and  they  will  no  doubt have a  wonderful presentation,  but we must prove  to  ourselves through  the
Set-apart  Spirit  working in us what the  truth is.

When an organizations  ‘headquarters’  (or whatever they call it!) sets up a  barricade around what they
perceive as ‘the truth’...WATCH  OUT!  Anything  outside of the  barricade will be looked upon as
‘untruthful’.  Corporations  are allergic to change!!!

Matthew 10:16
Behold,  I send you  out as sheep  in  the midst  of  wolves. Therefore  be  wise  as  serpents and
  harmless as doves.
(NKJV)

1 Thessalonians 5:21
But  test  everything; hold fast what is good,
(RSV)

An ‘organization’ will feel threatened,  when  they  are confronted with something  outside of their  barricade
(box!).  They  most  likely  will  not answer hard questions  that  go  against their  belief  system…no!!!…anyone
who  threatens them will probably be asked  not to attend!  Or  the ‘organization’ will keep silent,  hoping  the
  situation  will  go  away!

We aren’t to have a  spirit  of  fear, the  Spirit, the  Comforter will guide  us  in  the way  of  truth…it  will  help
us to see  the truth!

2 Timothy 1:7
For  the Spirit which  Elohim (God) gave us was  not  a spirit of cowardice, but  a spirit of
power, love,  and self-control.
(TCNT)

John 14:16-17,  26
16 I  will  pray  to  the Father,  and he will give you  another Counselor,{Greek Parakleton: Counselor,
Helper,  Intercessor,  Advocate, and  Comforter.}
that he may  be  with  you forever, (WEB)
17 the  Spirit  of  truth,  whom  the world  is  not able to receive, because  it  does  not behold
him, nor  know  him,  and you  know  him,  because he does remain with you, and  shall be in
  you.
(YLT)

26 But  the Comforter, {which is} the  Set-apart Spirit (Holy  Ghost)whom the  Father  will send
in  my  name, he shall  teach you  all things,  and bring  all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever  I have said unto you
. (KJV)  {added  words}

John 15:26
But  when  the Comforter  is  come, whom I  will  send  unto  you from the  Father, even the
Spirit of truth, which  proceeds  from  the Father,  he  shall bear witness  of  me:
(ASV)

John 16:13
However, when he,  the  Spirit  of  true  knowledge,  has come,  he  will  be  your  guide into all
true knowledge
:  for his  words will not  come  from  himself,  but whatever has  come  to  his
hearing, that he will say: and  he  will  make  clear to you  the things to come.
(BBE)

In our  believing journey, we have made certain  changes with what we perceived  as  ‘the  truth’…we would
like to share  some  of  these with you  now
.

Instead  of  using LORD,  we  now use  YHWH  (the  Hebrew  letters ~ yod,  hay,  waw,  hay)  the tetragrammaton.
It has  been  replaced  with  LORD  almost  7000  times in the  Old Covenant Scriptures.  How is it pronounced?
We use  YAHWEH  (Yaw-way) as the  pronunciation of these  ‘four letters’,  and for  God,  we  now use  Elohim
(El-o-heem).

Please read the  accompanying  study papers:  “What’s  In  a Name”  PT1 & 2,  “Who  Do  You Pray To?”,
“Just  Who is the  Most  High, Can  We  Know  Him?”.

Change requires humility,  which is a  fruit of the  Spirit  (Gal. 5:22).

The  Son’s Name is also different  than  what  we  have  been  told, remember… “Prove all  things”.
He stated that He came in His  Father’s  Name, and  this  doesn’t mean by His ‘authority’  only, but
literally  means ‘Name’.  Yah~shua  is  the Name we use  for our  Savior. Yah  can be proven within
the  Scriptures…let’s  investigate!

Ps 68:4
Sing to Elohim (God)sing praises  to  His name;  Extol Him  who rides  on  the clouds,  by His
name YAH, and  rejoice before Him. (NKJ)

The  yod  and the  hay spell  ‘YAH’,  while the  shin and  the ayin spell  ‘shua’, which  has a  meaning of
 ‘salvati
on’. YAH  is  salvation…is  what  the Name means…doesn’t  that  have  a wonderful  meaning?

Acts 4:12
Neither  is  there salvation  in  any other: for  there is none other  name  under heaven given
among men, whereby  we  must  be  saved
.
(KJV)

Please read:  “Jesus ~ The Untold Story”,  and “Christos ~ The  Untold  Story”. These  are certainly  ‘eye  openers’.

I  would like to end  this  study paper  with  another poem penned by my believing  wife, my soul mate.
TRULY  ENJOY!

“Prove All  Things”

Scripture  tells us to “prove all  things”,
None of us will ever learn  it  all.
We can  earnestly try  and do our  best,
We must defend the  truth like the  apostle Paul.

A  verse that means  more  to  me  now,
Is where  Yahshua said in John 17:11;
“Father  the ones you’ve given  me, keep them in your Name”.
Also,  we  are told not  to  take  Yahweh’s  Name  in  vain, Ex.  20:7.

Yahshua  said  in  Matt  6:9,  “set-apart  is  your  Name”,
A  reference to the  Name  is  made  very  clear.
I  don’t think  Scripture could  be  more  plain,
Blessed  are the  eyes  that  see and  the ears that hear.

Disciples  in  training  is  what  we  are now,
Humble servants,  ready to serve.
We’ve  been  counted worthy,
But  none  of  us  deserve!

Just the  same, we are  eager,
Willing  to  learn.
Always ready  to  give  an  answer,
To the  Scriptures  we  will  turn.

“The Miracle  of  Conversion”

I  haven’t really studied  into  this  word  before, but  I know that it is very important  in  a believers  walk!
Let’s study  this  subject and  try and  find  out as much as we can  about it,  its importance,  and why  we
need it.

Let’s  see what the  Webster’s ‘Handy College’ Dictionary has  to  says  about conversion:

  • Convert ~  change  into  another form;  exchange.
  • Conversion ~ act  or  effect  of  converting, change.

What are the  steps necessary  for a  person  to  become  converted,  to  become  a changed  person?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter  said  unto  them, Repent,  and be baptized every  one of you  in  the name
of Yahshua  (Jesus) Messiah (Christ) for  the remission  of  sins, and  you shall  receive the  gift  of
the  Set-apart (Holy) Spirit (Ghost). (KJV)

3340   metanoeo- (Thayer’s) ~  Repent
1) to change one's  mind  (heart),  that  is, to repent.
2)
to change one's  mind  (heart) for  the better,  to  amend heartily with abhorrence of one's
past sins.

The  first step is to repent,  to  have  a change of heart, why? Let’s  investigate!

Jer 17:9 The  heart is deceitful  above all  things, and  desperately wicked;  who can  know  it? (KJV)
10 I,  Yahweh  (the LORD),  search  the heart, I  test  the mind,  even  to  give  every man according  to  his ways,  according to the  fruit of his  doings. (NKJ)

From the  beginning of time,  ha  Shatan  (Satan) has  put into the  heart and  mind  of  man to do his  own thing,
not  to  trust the  Creator,  not to listen to Him  through His  word, and  most  of  all,  not do what His  word  says!
(Read  Gen. 3 : 1-5)

We need to be de-programmed  from  this  deception,  unlearning  is  a life long experience.

Satan  is  very  good  at  what  he  does, he knows  our heart  and mind,  and he definitely knows  what  strings to
pull!  He  knows what makes  us  tick, and  he  doesn’t want any  of  us  finding out  all that he has  done!

1 Pet 5:8 Be  of  sober spirit,  be  on  the alert. Your adversary, the  devil,  prowls  about like a
roaring  lion, seeking  someone to devour. (NAS)

Acts 3:19   Repent, then,  and turn to Elohim (God),  so  that  your  sins  may be wiped  out,
that times  of  refreshing  may come from the  Master (Lord), (NIV)

Once we’ve  come  to  repentance, and  want  our hearts changed, the  next  step  in  this  conversion  process is
to be immersed…baptized.

Matt 3:11 I (John) indeed immerse  (baptize) you  with  water unto repentance,  but He who  is
coming after  me  is  mightier  than  I,  whose sandals  I am not  worthy  to  carry.  He  will  immerse
(baptize) you  with  the (Holy) Set-apart  Spirit  and fire. (NKJ)
Matt 3:12   Whose fan  is  in  His hand,  and He will thoroughly purge His  floor,  and gather His
wheat  into  the garner;  but He will burn up the  chaff with unquenchable fire. (KJV)
13 Then Yahshua (Jesus)   arrived from Galilee  at  the Jordan coming to John,  to  be immersed
(baptized) by him. (NAS)
14   But John tried  to  deter Him,  saying, "I need to be immersed (baptized) by  You,  and do You
come to me?" (NIV)

I  most  likely  would have been   just  like  John  ( Yohanan)  in  these verses,  somewhat  confused  about the
Creator  asking  to  be  (baptized)  immersed, but  an  example was  being established  for us to pattern  after.

John 3:1 There was  a man  of  the Pharisees, named  Nicodemus,  a ruler  of  the Jews:(KJV)
2 this man  came  to  Him by night, and  said  to  Him,  "Rabbi, we know that You  have come
from Elohim
(God) as a  teacher;  for no one  can do these  signs that You  do  unless Elohim (God)
is with him." (NAS)
3   In  reply Yahshua
(Jesus) declared, "I tell you  the truth, no one  can see  the kingdom of
Elohim (God) unless he is born again." (NIV)
4   Nicodemus said to Him, "How can  a man  be  born  when  he  is  old?  Can he enter  a second
time into  his mother's womb and  be  born?"
(NKJ)
5   Yahshua
(Jesus) answered,  Verily,  verily, I  say unto you  (thee),  Except  a man  be  born of
water and  of  the Spirit,  he  cannot  enter into the  kingdom of Elohim (God). (KJV)
6  That which  is  born  of  the flesh  is  flesh,  and that which  is  born  of  the Spirit is spirit. (NAS)
7  You  should  not be surprised  at  my  saying, 'You must be born again.' (NIV)

This brings to my mind some Scriptures in the  last  book ,  the book of Revelation,  about the  New Jerusalem. Let’s  investigate!

Rev 21:2 And I  saw the  set-apart (holy) city,  new Jerusalem, coming down out  of  heaven  from
Elohim (God),  made  ready as a  bride adorned  for her  husband. (NAS)

Rev 21:24 And the  nations of them which  are saved  shall walk in the  light of it:  and the  kings
of the  earth do bring  their esteem (glory) and  honor into it. (KJV)

Rev21:27 But  there shall  by  no  means enter  it  anything  that  defiles,  or  causes  an  abomination
or a  lie,  but only those  who are  written in the  Lamb's  Book  of  Life. (NKJ)

Rev 3:12 Him who  overcomes I  will  make  a pillar in the  temple  of  my  Elohim  (God). Never
again  will  he  leave it.  I will write  on  him the  name  of  my  Elohim  (God) and  the name  of  the
city of my Elohim (God),  the new  Jerusalem,  which is coming down out  of heaven from my
Elohim (God);  and I  will  also  write on him  my  new name. (NIV)

We want to be in the  Kingdom of the  Most  High, we want to be in New  Jerusalem,  this  is  what  we  are
training for  now!  We  are being  transformed,  being changed  a little bit  each  day.  Our conversion will not  be
complete until  we  are resurrected  into  the wonderful  Kingdom…let’s continue the  process until  that  day!

We have discussed  two steps  of  conversion…repentance,  and immersion. There  is  one more step that plays
an important  role…receiving  the Set-apart  Spirit.

Acts 8:14   Now  when  the apostles which  were  at  Jerusalem heard  that  Samaria had received the  word of Elohim (God),  they  sent  unto  them  Peter and  John: (KJV)
Acts 8:15 who, when they had  come  down, prayed for  them  that  they  might receive  the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit. (NKJ)
16   because  the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit had  not yet  come  upon  any of them;  they  had simply been immersed (baptized) into the  name  of  the Master (Lord) Yahshua  (Jesus).(NIV)
17 Then  they  began laying their  hands on them,  and they were receiving  the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit.(NAS)

This is when our  walk  to  New Jerusalem  begins. The  walk  will  be  difficult,  it  will  have  many  obstacles that
will try  to  lure  us  away. The  road  map that will help us reach  New Jerusalem, our  destination,  are The
Scriptures!  The only one  who walked it perfectly  is  Yahshua ha Mashiach,  He  left  us  an  example to follow
in His  footsteps.

We will never  walk  as  He  walked  perfectly,  no, we will stumble  and fall,  but always get  back  up  and
continue.  His sandals  we  won’t be able to fill,  but He knows  our heart, He knows  our efforts.

I  would now  like  to  relate  a story  to  you about  my  parents.  It  fits  right in with this study. They purchased
some real estate in Alaska in the  1970’s…several  acres on the  Kenai peninsula. It had  a nice two  story log
house  on  the property,  and also an older  building  that  once  was an orphanage.

The  previous  owners  were  thinking  about tearing  down  the older  building, it resembled  an  old dilapidated
barn,  it  was sore to the  eyes. My parents  saw something  different,  and what they did  was nothing  more
than amazing!

They  completely  remodeled this old  building, from top  to  bottom, inside and  out,  just  the two  of  them. I
will tell you, it became a  beautiful building once again. Can  you see  the parallel to our  conversion  process?
We were like that old  orphanage,  sore  to  the eyes,  but our  Maker saw  something within us that was  of
promise…just as my parents  saw in that old  building.

Let’s  continually thank  our Father for  His remodeling each one  of  us. Overcoming is hard,  but the  reward
is much better.  We  don’t want to be torn down and  cast  into  the fire…no…we want to hear what is in the
following  verses;

Matt 25:21 "His  master  (lord) said  to  him,  'Well done,  good  and faithful servant; you were
faithful over a  few things,  I will make you  ruler over many things.  Enter into the joy  of  your
master (lord).' (NKJ)

Rev 3:5   He that overcomes, the  same  shall be clothed  in  white raiment; and  I will not blot
out  his name out  of  the book of life,  but I  will  confess his  name  before  my  Father, and before
his  messengers (angels). (KJV)

Rev 3:21 'He who  overcomes,  I will grant  to  him to sit  down  with  Me  on  My  throne, as I also
overcame and  sat down with My Father on His  throne. (NAS)

We are  being remodeled  now,  it  is  a difficult  process,  but stay the  course…as you  can see, the  reward  is
  GREAT!!!

I  would like to share  with  you another  wonderful poem that my wife penned.  ENJOY!!!

 “The  Miracle of Conversion”

Our  loving  Creator hears  all that we say,

He is the  Master  and we are  the clay.

He’s known  us  all from the  very  start,

The  gift  of  His Spirit He wants  to  impart.

Our  mind  is  convicted;  begins  to  change,

The  way we once lived  seems so strange.

New  life  in  Messiah is a  blessing  indeed,

Especially when we water  the seed.

Man  surely  reaps all  that  he  sows,

Examples in Scripture  plainly show.

We’ve  read  how David  cried out  in  tears,

Psalms 51 makes  this  very  clear.

A  repentant heart  can make us whole,

Conversion truly  converts  the soul.

Pressing forward  our past left behind,

Once this precious truth  we  find.

We share  in  a love that makes  us  one,

Drawn  to  the Father through  Yahshua His  Son.

A  healing takes  place;  our hearts are  made  clean,

The  Most  High  gives us His  word  in  John  3:16.

(RIW ~ 4/8/1996)

I  hope  that  this  study paper  has given  you some encouragement. We all  are a  diamond in the  rough,  not
perfect  yet!  If  we  all stay the  course, we will become perfect  in  His Righteous  and Wonderful  Kingdom.

May  Yahweh  Bless ~  our remodeling!    DLW
